Our Story: Our journey began in 2018 with a simple yet transformative discovery. Co-founder Ariana Dedianko was introduced to the wonders of activated oxygen (ozone or O3). Guided by a mentor with over four decades of expertise, Ariana embarked on a mission to heal others through this magical molecule. Fascinated by the potential of ozonated oil, Ariana shared her insights with her friend Caroline De Sousa. Recognizing its untapped potential in the beauty landscape, Caroline, a seasoned industry veteran, envisioned bringing this enchanting elixir to a broader audience. Together, they founded Subtle Bodies, infusing ozonated ingredients into beloved skincare formulations and adding a unique twist to these timeless potions.

Transparency: Each offering is a testament to our commitment to quality, efficacy, and innovation. We hand make each product in small batches at our Skin Lab in Los Angeles, California. Our formulas represent the culmination of over 20 years of meticulous development, guided by the feedback and experiences of clients. While not flawless, our efforts significantly reduce plastic consumption. We've invested considerable energy in steering our packaging towards sustainability. Most importantly, we empower consumers to explore repurposing and reusing our packaging, thereby granting these thoughtfully crafted vessels a renewed purpose and diverting them from landfills. We've observed the growing popularity of the term 'clean beauty,’ however the definition varies widely between brands and lacks clear industry standards, leading to confusion among consumers. Additionally, the focus on 'clean' often overshadows other important aspects of skincare, such as product safety, efficacy, and sustainability.
